SFS Academy celebrated the 77th Independence Day on August 15, 2023, with great keenness and patriotic fervor. The celebration began with the Marching Band welcoming the Chief Guest, Brigadier Ravi Muniswamy and the Principal, Fr. Johnson. The Chief Guest unfurled the National Flag and the gathering paid their respect while singing the National Anthem. This was followed by the acceptance of the general salute by the Chief Guest and Principal during a synchronized march past by the School Cabinet, four Houses, National Cadet Corps and the Marching Band. Students dressed in tri-colour-themed clothes took over the stage and presented a patriotic song and fusion dance. The program ended with the Chief Guest and the Principal expressing their wishes on the occasion and motivating the august gathering to serve the country and lead it to prosperity
