SFS Academy celebrated World Environment Day on Monday, June 5, 2023. The celebration was in line with this year’s theme: “Solutions to Plastic Pollution”.

The celebration began with a dance that showcased how the world is inundated by plastic. This was followed by a mime, which exhibited the ways to use plastic more sustainably. Our Principal then talked about the importance of a green today for a clean tomorrow. The celebration ended with the planting of 10 pepper and 3 papaya saplings on the school campus by the students of grades VIII - X, the distribution of tomato, brinjal and chilli seeds to all the students and the following theme-based in-class activities: grades I - II: colouring a picture, grades III - V: making a bookmark and grades VI - X: making a newspaper bag.
