Independence Day ’26

SFS Academy, Electronics City, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour under the theme “Rhythm of Sacrifice.” The programme began with a warm welcome, followed by a melodious prayer song presented by the school choir.

The celebrations continued with the ceremonial Flag Hoisting and the singing of the National Anthem, as students and staff united in honouring the nation.

The Chief Guest, Rev. Dr. Shibu Jacob, MSFS, Vice Principal of SFS Degree College, addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, encouraging students to uphold the values of sacrifice, discipline and selfless service exemplified by India’s freedom fighters.

A prize distribution ceremony recognised students for their outstanding achievements in interschool athletic and football tournaments and Young Indians Parliament 2026. The programme also featured a thought-provoking student speech, a soulful patriotic song, and a vibrant group dance that beautifully reflected the spirit of freedom and unity.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of national pride and gratitude for the sacrifices that shaped the nation.
