SFS Academy organised a heartfelt Farewell Function to bid adieu to the outgoing Grade X
students. The programme commenced with a graceful procession of the Grade X students,
clad in graduation robes, symbolising the completion of an important milestone in their
academic journey. This was followed by a serene prayer dance that set a calm and spiritual
tone for the event.
The Chief Guest for the day was Rev. Fr. Philip Thomas Kizhakumpurath, and the Guest of
Honour was Rev. Fr. Joshy Philip. The programme continued with the lighting of the
ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries along with the Grade X representatives, followed by the
soulful rendition of the school anthem.
Students of Grade IX expressed their admiration and gratitude towards their seniors through
heartfelt speeches, melodious songs, and a vibrant group dance performance. A meaningful
oath-taking ceremony served as a reminder to the outgoing students of the values,
responsibilities, and integrity they carry forward as ambassadors of the institution.
The teachers and the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Philip, inspired the students with words of
wisdom, encouragement, and guidance for their future endeavours. The distribution of
mementos, speeches by the Grade X students, and a nostalgic video montage added
emotional depth, evoking fond memories of their school life.
The programme concluded with a sincere vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem,
leaving behind cherished memories and heartfelt wishes for the bright and successful future
of the outgoing batch.
