A Celebration of Team Spirit and Excellence
The much-awaited Interschool Football and Basketball Meet – Desalite Cup ’25 was held at
SFS Academy on November 4, 2025. The event brought together talented teams from various
schools who displayed remarkable energy, coordination, and sportsmanship throughout the
day.
Across multiple venues, thrilling matches kept the audience captivated as teams battled
passionately for the coveted Desalite Cup.
In Basketball (Boys, Grade 8 and below), DPS East lifted the trophy, demonstrating
outstanding teamwork and determination. Amaatra Academy secured the first runners-up
position, while Samhita Academy finished as the second runners-up.
In Basketball (Boys, Grade 10 and below), Christ Academy showcased excellent
coordination and skill to emerge as champions. Samhita Academy took the first runners-up
spot, and Sri Aurobindo Memorial School secured the second runners-up position.
In Basketball (Girls, Grade 8 and below), DPS East once again triumphed with their brilliant
tactics and flawless teamwork. Hill Rock National Public School earned the first runners-up
place, while St. Francis, Koramangala claimed the second runners-up position.
In Football (Boys, Grade 8 and below), SFS Academy dominated the field with speed,
control, and perfect coordination to become the champions. SFS Public School finished as
first runners-up, and Samhita Academy bagged the second runners-up award.
In Football (Boys, Grade 10 and below), St. Joseph’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School
clinched the title with their exceptional passing and finishing skills. Samhita Academy took
the first runners-up place, and GHS Bommasandra finished as second runners-up.
In Football (Girls, Grade 10 and below), Advaith International School showcased remarkable
defense and attacking coordination to emerge as champions. St. Xavier’s School secured the
first runners-up position, while SFS Academy took home the second runners-up award.
The meet concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, where Rev. Fr. Binoy and Rev. Fr.
Majish presented the winners with trophies, medals, and cash prizes. The event truly
celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition, leaving everyone
inspired and motivated.
