SFS Academy students left no stone unturned in organizing two grand assemblies on account of Teachers Day to honor and thank all their teachers who put in their best efforts in to molding them to be better human beings. 1st to 10th grade students organized a surprise skit which projected their magnificent talents in theatricals on the story of the well-known “Ekalavya” and his love and respect towards his guru – Dhronacharya. The students performed a dance choreographed by them emphasizing on how teachers are their inspiration and the importance of being a teacher. A melodious group song and a glorious speech were given by the students to which the teachers felt ever grateful and proud of their students’ abilities. Post the formal programs the students and our Principal Rev. Fr. P M Lawrence organized sports event and a grand feast for all the faculties. It was indeed a very enjoyable and memorable event.

The Kindergarten section organized a very special assembly and did not hesitate to give it their all. This special assembly showcased the talents and abilities of the blooming buds of SFS Academy through a prayer song, a group dance and a group song. This special assembly was held on 28th September to commemorate Dr. Sarvepalli RadhaKrishnan, who was the 2nd president of independent India and a great philosopher. Rev. Fr. P M Lawrence was invited as the chief guest of the day to give a wonderful speech and engaged the students with his charismatic presence. The kindergarteners presented all teachers and non- teaching staff with a handmade flower and a book mark which will remind us of the immense love and respect they have for us.
