“Freedom in the mind, faith in the words, pride in our hearts and memories in our souls…. Let us salute our nation on Independence Day!” SFS Academy marked the 75th Independence with great joy and enthusiasm. The celebrations filled the air with patriotism and it was a tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for giving us this freedom. The teaching and non teaching staff gathered together in the school. The programme began with a prayer song followed by flag hoisting ceremony and National Anthem. The chief guest, Brigadier Ravi Muni Swamy’s speech emanated a true connotation of patriotism. It was followed by cultural programmes by the students which included dances, songs , character representation and mime depicting the life of soldiers, freedom fighters and religious diversities.

The Principal Rev. Fr. PM Lawrence addressed the gathering by telling the significance of our independence and how the modern generation can get inspiration and motivation to work towards the progress of the country.
