Students of SFS Academy celebrated the festival of Diwali by organising an exhibition of Diwali handicrafts, which were prepared by the students themselves. Nursery students brought various types of colourful candles and diyas that were decorated with ribbons, sparkles, beads, shells, stars, mirrors, glitters and paint. Candles of varied sizes and shapes were displayed in all classes to mark the festival of lights. The nursery block of SFS Academy celebrated Diwali through a Morning Prayer and assembly, explaining the significance of the day. Students then decorated their items in very innovative ways in their classes - making various designs of rangoli ranging from geometrical to floral patterns. The whole display was overwhelming.

The management of the school appreciated this endeavour of the students and encouraged them to celebrate every festival with the same enthusiasm. Through this celebration, students tried to convey in their own way how this pious festival can be celebrated in a peaceful manner with Great Spirit.
